I'm starting to wonder if I will actually end up with extra at the end of the month. I spent a lot this past week on milk and cereal which has upped my total. I wasn't expecting that. I have enough milk in the fridge for the rest of the month and 6 more coupons for next month. That's almost enough milk to last through the end of May. If they do the twin pack deal again next month then I'll be able to double my milk into 12 gallons. When you look at it that way it seems worth it to have gotten so much cereal/milk this week.

budget Update

Went to Savage yesterday and did this weeks Kellogg's deal. This is how it turned out.

I recieved overage on the twin pack. The cashier game me the full $4.69 for the free milk coupon and then used the $3.28 Cub coupon. I think it came to about$1.30 overage that went towards the cereal.

I had forgotten to add at the begining of the month that I had four free milk coupons from doing the Kellogg's deal last month. This is where the free milk Cat comes in.

Pudding

Just a budget update tonight. I took Noah to Cub this even to use the $1.25/3 pudding coupons from this weekend. He had a great time putting all the pudding into the cart. I let him bag it up afterward by himself, he thought it was great.

The large boxes of pudding are also $.50 this week. Makes them a better value then the small boxes, but the only regular flavors are chocolate and vanilla. They also had special ones like Oreo, vanilla with chocolate chips and other things like that.

Cub
21 boxes of Jell-O Pudding $.50
1 Cub large eggs $1.24

-7 $1.25/3 MF found instore
Total OOP $2.99

Total spent this trip $2.99
Total spent for the month $21.54
Total left for the month $63.46 + $3 OYNO

I listed the $3 OYNO when I was typing up what I had spend on the inital monthly post, but I forgot to add it to my total left for the month. Just wanted to clarify where it came from.

April Budget

I'm starting the April budget. Hopefully I'll be able to stay on track and actually finish it this month.

I'm thinking I might actually be able to end up under budget this month. My pantry is full to the gills and I am thinking it is time to start using up some of the things that are in there. I'm kind of hoping there aren't that many good sales this month cause I don't have much space to put them.

Also this month I am going to track and post how much I spend on extra coupons. I don't usually order many extras, but I thought it might be good to keep track of how much money is going into that and might be interesting for all of you to see when and where to get extra coupons.
