Lots of salsa

Not much to add today. If you read the post below we will see what I got. :)

Cub
6 Wild Harvest organic salsa $1.79
Total after coupons $4.77

Total This Trip $4.77
Total Spending for The Month $23.14
Total Left To Spend $71.66

I've decided this week is a great opportunity to get into the Walgreens RR/rebates with very little OOP. I'm planning on doing the same thing I did this fall with CVS and put in $20 or less to get started and then just keep rolling it from there. I don't think I will really need the whole $20, probably just $5. At any rate. I'm not going to take the start up $ out of the grocery budget for the month. In the future I'll add in what I spend, just like at CVS, but for now I fell it would skew the numbers to deduct that from the monthly grocery budget.

Walgreens
9 Crest Pro Health $22.50
-$13.50 WG coupon
-$4 in MF coupons
-$4.61 in random gift card I had
Total $2.85
received 2/$10 RR

A few great finds for this week

I found a great deal at Cub today. Noah has fallen in love with the grocery store and asks to go every time we leave home. We went today with no real purpose, but I did want to take a closer look at the ConAgra buy $20 get $10 OYNO deal. While we were there we checked the coupons from the coupon printer machine and they had a $1/1 Wild Harvest organic salsa. The salsa is on sale this week for $1.79 so it comes out to be $.79 for a 16oz jar. That's a great price for salsa, but an excellent price for organic salsa. I'm not sure what the regular price is. The coupon is only good for this week so stock up.

Walgreens has an even better deal going on this week

Buy 9 Crest Pro-health toothpaste for $2.50 each. Use the $3/2 WG coupon from their monthly booklet. The total will be $9. You will get 2 $10 RR along with your reciept. You end up making $11 on each 9 toothpaste. This deal gets better if you use the $.50/1 coupon from Sundays paper and the other coupons from last months P&G insert.

You can't use your RRs to purchase the same products, and get more RRs. If you want to do the deal a couple of times you can do this;

9 Crest=$22.50
-$3/2 WG=$13.50
Total OOP=$9
RR 2/$10=$20

1 Venus Embrace $9.99
1 Zantac 8ct 150mg $3.99
-$1/1 Zantac MF (I've heard there is also a IP on the Walgreens website)
-$4/1 Venus (Sunday's paper)
=Total $8.98
Tax $.58
Total $9.56 Get a small filler item so your total is over $10
Use 1 $10 RR
Receive $3 RR from Zantac, $6 RR from Venus=$10 total in RR

Take your $3 and $6 RR and use them to get 9 more Crest free and another $20.

Now you have 3 $10 RR. One from the first time you did the crest deal and two from the second. You can keep going around like this using all the coupons you have. If you only do the crest twice and the Venus/Zantac twice you will end up with $40 with an OOP of no more then $9. It will be less if you have MF for the crest, but most of us won't have 18 crest coupons sitting around.
