Last day of the Month--what did I get?

I had some coupons that were expiring today so Noah and I went out to see what we could find. I headed to CVS with a page full of clearance and hidden deals plus the regular sale items for the week. Well, we ended up leaving with 2 rainchecks and nothing else. :(

I did run into Becky Weber and her neighbor, Stephanie as I was leaving. I was saying that I was heading to Target to use up my $5/3 Target coupon that expired today so Stephanie gave me two more. All total I now had three $5/3 and one $5/5 to work with.

This is what I ended up getting. I think I did pretty good for not having a plan when I talked through the door.

5 Johnson's Buddies $.94 -2 $2/2
1 9oz Johnson's baby soap $2.09
2 20oz Johnson's baby soap $2.79
1 14ct Johnson's pre-soaped washcloths $2.99
1 Neosporin $3.89 -$1/1
1 20ct Diego Bandaids $1.97 -$1/1 (Noah almost had a fit 4 times once we got home because he wanted one so bad.)
5 Stayfree $1.02 ( Just realized I only needed 14 products so I only needed to get 3 of these)

I think that my OOP after all the Target coupons was $.32. My reciept only shows tax for the amount of other products I purchased. I found some toys maked 75% off so I got a couple of Christmas presents. These aren't included in the grocery budget so they won't be added to the total.

I also went to Cub last night. Here is what I got on my last trip of the month.

20 Farmland sausage $1.50 -20 $1/1
5 HomeLife paper towels $.99, -5 $1/1
5 Bushel Boy life lettuce $1.79, -5 $2/1
1 YoBaby 6pk $3.64, -Free coupon
2 Marie Calendar 16oz pot pies $2.75
10 Chef Boyardee ravioli $1, -2 $.35/3
5 McCormick Mexican seasoning packets $.80 -2 $.25/2, -5/$3 Cub coupon
3 Peter Pan $1.66, -$1/1
-$2 OYNO coupon
Total OOP $26.50, received $10 OYNO coupon

Total Spent $26.82
Total spending for the month $85.81
Total left for the month $2.84 + $10 OYNO

So...all in all I am under budget again this month. I did have quite a lot of extra money to spend this month that's to the Planters Nuts overage. It made it easier to stock up on things like the sausage and ravioli.
